What is Cannabidiol (CBD) and how does it work?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the cannabis plant. It is one of the many active ingredients in the plant, and can have therapeutic benefits without the psychoactive effects of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). CBD works by interacting with the body's endocannabinoid system, which helps regulate various functions such as sleep, mood, and pain perception. CBD has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and pain and promote relaxation, restful sleep, and a sense of well-being.

What is Water-Soluble CBD?

It’s no secret – oil and water don’t mix. Like most hemp plants, hemp is packed with oils. This means that extracted CBD oil is not water soluble in its natural form. Because the body has such a tough time breaking down the oil during digestion a lot of the CBD is wasted. This makes conventionally prepared CBD oil have extremely limited bioavailability compared to nanoemulsified CBD.
